ONE MOMENT IN TIME

One Moment in Time
I had it all...
I had the job, the love,
the faith, and the friends.
In another moment,
it came to an end.

Now I stare at the ceiling wondering
how it could all slip away
What twist of fate wouldn't let it stay.
The voice once strong and proud
silenced forever now.

Confusion and doubt fill my time,
and play havoc with my mind.
Moving about broken and dazed,
Was my faith just a phase?

As I wonder through the haze,
I know of one thing I am sure
Each and every day begins a new
Each moment is precious and few
