Love Reincarnated

I was seeking someone,
that would accept me as I am,
Seeing beyond the faults and insecurities.
And then as if in the wink of and eye,
I found a gift sent from above.

Someone who didn't ask anything of me
but gave of thier heart freely.
It's as if we were married in a past life,
strolling together as husband and wife.
Reaching out from the past
Touching each other's souls again at last.

It's the love that meets our needs,
and is our spiritual feed.
It bonds us back together again,
We would give everything we have,
if our love could transcend.

You are in my thoughts and dreams each day,
how long will it be until you can stay?
To love and grow old forever and a day.
