Four Angels

Four angels sitting in a tree,
Watching out over me.
The first angel said, "she needs me",
"I am her reality and common ground."
"I show her, her fears are unfound."
"No", the second angel said, "she needs me",
"For the war in her head".
"No", said angel number three,
"Its me she needs the most,"
"I give her laughter to help her cope".
"You are all wrong", said the fourth angel,
"It is me, she seeks the most",
"I give her hope from the Holy Ghost".
From above came the sound,
Trumpets heralding the holy sound.
"It is all of you, she needs",
"Your talents are her spiritual feed.
"From angels one and three",
"She is lifted up in time of need."
"And when she needs the strength",
"Its number two who heeds the call",
"And beats the devil from her brow".
"And last my little angel, number four",
"You are the wisest of them all",
"Cause without your faith to bind them all",
"The devil would surely cause her fall".
To me he sent His unending love,
In four little angels watching from above.
