THE BATTLEGROUND

I sit and watch the magnificence of Gods creation,
Rushing to meet the shore.
The sounds of peacefulness, and the solace that I once felt
Is abated by the uneasiness of things unsaid.
Things are not as they should be, this I can see.
Even though my eyes are blind, to the fate of mankind.

Random thoughts like the ocean,
Racing in and out in constant motion.
Wars raging on in constant battle.
The power and the might of the battle,
felt in the storms that echo in the skies.

The sounds of battle raging on,
The clashing of wills as seen in lightening,
The roar of the angry beast as thunder moves across the sky.
Never knowing the end result, and where the future lies.
A gentle chilling breeze does blow,
Uneasiness and fear fill my soul.
Things are not as they should be, this I know.

As a hand reaches down to still the sea.
Once again the sounds of peacefulness, and solace return.
A small victory has been won.
The grey dark clouds with frightening skies,
part to allow the Son to shine.
Once again the arms of God reach to embrace all of mankind.
