Located in a country setting in the community of Jackson, meetings are held the second Thursday of every month begining at 7pm at Heidel's Restaurant.Meetings feature guest speakers or mini-workshops by members and show-n-tell.
Through our Community Service Project, we are active participants in Operation Snuggle, providing quilts for spouses & children of family members deployed in the Armed Forces in Iraq & Afghanistan & help provide "Gold Star" memorial quilts to the families of fallen heroes. We are also providing quilts to injured soldiers on the brain trama & spinal injuries unit at the V.A.Hospital in Milwaukee.
This May, we host our 12th annual judged quilt show, "Winter Wonderland," at a new location at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. Showcasing quilt artists from southeast Wisconsin,the show also features our annual raffle quilt, a silent auction, vendors, quilting demonstrations, and fabric challenge. A special quilt exhibit this year is "Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece."
