1. Be polite.
Whether you are writing a message in a forum, sending/responding to an e-mail, chatting, do not insult people. This is a basic role in every social relationship. Even though they can't see you, they can hear the tone of your voice.

3. Make yourself look good online.
In cyberspace, You are not judged by the color of your skin, your weight, your age, or your clothing. You may not want to give the impression that you are a cold, cruel person. To give friendly image, use proper words in chat room and e-mail messages.

4. Don't abuse your power.
Some people in cyberspace have more power than others. There are wizards in MUDs (multi-user dungeons), If you are expert in every office, and system administrator in every system, you may have more power than others. But this situation does not give you the right to take advantage of them.
