While ONE STEP BEYOND began on April 18, 2002, the actual band had been practicing for weeks before the final name, ONE STEP BEYOND, was created. Tim, who had been playing guitar for a few years (and had mastered everything there is), had been friends w/ Sean. Sean, who had been playing bass for the last 1/2 year or so (and wasnt too bad it) decided 'why not start a band?' so then after finding a drummer, (Stephen) and about 20 names and 1 month later, ONE STEP BEYOND was created.
Playing insane rhythms and hardcore tempos, ONE STEP BEYOND plays a variety of styles, ranging from rock to punk. They have ryhthms styled like Blink or Greenday, and then some hardcore songs like AFI or Black Sabbath. It seems that they have mastered the art of writting lyrics and music.
