DEPARTMENT OF LAW

A.P.S. UNIVERSITY, REWA (M.P.)

The five years Integrated B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) course of the university is recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi by name Department of Law. It is Self Financing Semester System Course in Law which is open to students who have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized Board.

The aim of the department is to train future generation of Lawyers, Judges and Jurists in taking the Country forward. We have hitherto succeeded in our efforts as the university is giving the best possible results. Our emphasis is to open quality education and discipline so that the profession of Law gets only those persons in future who really desire to do the best not only for themselves but also in the larger interest of the country and the Nation.

ELIGIBILITY

Who has passed Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or on equivalent with 50% marks (45% for SC&ST candidates) in aggregate in any stream only recognized as such by this Vishwavidayalaya and are not above 22 years of age on Ist July.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

All eligible applicants will be required to appear for the written entrance test on 10th August 2004, time 2.00 P.M. and venue at Department of Law, A.P.S. University, Rewa. Admission to the course will be strictly in order of merit. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test. Which include General Ability Test and Interview.

• General Ability Test ( 100 Marks)

This test will be so designed as to asses the awareness of the candidate in matters of general interest like General English, Mathematics, General knowledge, Science, Arts, Sports, International affairs, Culture, Literature and a large number of such other matters of common interest. It will include a few question to test the intelligence level of the candidate.

• Interview ( 100 Marks).
