16.              Design of new curriculum: 

·        Member Board of studies and play pivotal role in designing, reviewing & revising course curriculum of M.Sc.(IT), (CS)  & PGDCA course from time to time.   

·        Recently a new course on M.Sc. in Bioinformatics has been designed, which has been approved by Board of studies, Academic Council and Executive Council.   Approval from Coordination is in the process.

   

17.              Research Activity:                                     10 publications

 

Master course in the Department of Computer Science started in  the year 2000 only & the first batch has recently come out. Research activities in the field of Computers are in its infant stage & has yet to gain momentum.  Students are approaching for Ph.D work &  suitable work area is being explored.  Altogether, around ten papers have been published in various journals of national & international level where as two have been presented in national level conference.  However supervised  more than 100 students to complete their Major/ Minor project work based on VB/Oracle/ foxpro/web- technology etc.
