COURSE OUTLINE FOR ENTRANCE TEST
Applicants are required to appear in the written test of all the three papers (to be held one after another) on the specified date in July/early August at the Physics Department building of A .P. S. University, Rewa starting usually from 12 noon. The candidates will be evaluated through the written test (objective type) consisting of the following papers.
1. Mathematical & Logical Ability : 100 marks 30 minutes
2 General Ability : 100 marks 30 minutes
3. General English : 100 marks 30 minutes
Each question paper will comprise of 50 objective type questions and there will be no negative marking. Out of four choices, only one has to be selected. Calculator etc. are not allowed. Correct choice is to be indicated by a cross (x). The mathematics covered will be limited to Higher Secondary level. In general, there will be some questions relating to the fundamentals of computers both in general ability paper as well as in mathematical & logical ability paper. The candidates are advised (in their own interest) to make thorough preparations for the competitive test for all the three papers, to develop competitive skill so as to logically arrive at the correct choice both by process of elimination and using the proper formula/reasoning particularly by keeping in view of the time constraint (only 30 seconds for each questions). The candidates are further advised to note before filling the forms and taking admission, that the P. G. D. C. A. . Being a Professional course, its diploma will have the desired value only if the student is ready to devote his/her whole time (both in the department and at home) in continuous studies for one year from "day-1" of the admission, including self-study and group-studies.
