Why is IT PET born?

To give back to the society by what we have benefited from society, the IT Professionals and Engineers, from Thoothoor village, joined together and given birth to IT PET.

 

Way of giving back to the society

As the very first way, we, IT PET, decided to take the ownership of giving the award to the top 2 high scorers from the SSLC and HSC grades.

 

Award to the top 2 high scorers from SSLC & HSC grades

            The awards will be distributed on St. Thomas Day (July 3^rd).

 

Award Details:

We name the award after the Scientists and Mathematicians from India. Our notion of giving these names to the awards is to make the students to have their role model as these Scientists or Mathematicians.

Selection criteria:

Since the award is being given for the past few years we decided to follow the same criteria to select the student for the award.

 

Below are the criteria:

1. The student must be a Thoothoorian
2. The student must have completed the respective Grades (SSLC or HSC) in our Pius XI Hr. Sec. School, Thoothoor
3. The student must be one of the Top 2 high scorers in the respective Grades (SSLC or HSC) in the just completed academic year.

 

Note: The Selection Criteria and the Award Details could be changed if required in the future.

 

Future Plan of IT PET

The award distribution to the top 2 high scorers from SSLC & HSC grades is going to be an event for each and every year. We may come up with more ways of giving back to the society.
