A. Usa i verbi indicati per tradurre le frasi

1. bastare. subject: the thing that is enough. indirect object: the person for whom something is enough.
Two suitcases are enough for us.

2. dare fastidio. subject: the thing that is annoying. indirect object: the person who is annoyed.
Those noises annoy them but they never say anything.

3. dispiacere. subject: the thing that is bothersome. indirect object: the person who is bothered.

4. fare paura. subject: the thing that frightens. indirect object: the person who is frightened.
Mrs Cuomo's dog used to frighten Pierino.

5. fare schifo. subject: the thing that is disgusting. indirect object: the person who is disgusted.

6. importare. subject: the thing that is (not) important. indirect object: the person to whom it is (not) important.

7. interessare. subject: the thing that is of interest. indirect object: the person who finds it interesting.
We're very interested in the mayor's new plan.

8. mancare. subject: the thing or person missed. indirect object: the person who misses the other person or thing.

9. occorrere. subject: the thing that is needed. indirect object: the person who needs it.
Grandmother needs some sugar in order to make the cookies (biscotti).

10. servire. subject: the thing that is useful. indirect object: the person to whom it is useful.
Can you use a hand with the luggage? (il bagaglio)

11. restare. subject: the thing left over. indirect object: the person who has something left over.
I didn't spend much; I have a hundred dollars left.
