Pansy was my daughter Laura's little girl. She and Jazz were litter mates. Pansy died August 4, 2002, 2 months before Jazz, and losing her also left a big hole in our hearts. Pansy was diabetic for about 4 years before she died. Laura kept a daily journal from the day she was diagnosed, to keep track of her glucose tests (which she did every day) and her twice daily injections of insulin. She also had to be on a special diet. Laura was so devoted to this little dog, and I am so proud of her committment and dedication to keeping Pansy so happy and healthy for so long.
