| I have posted the Aprill 2002 Recipe of the Month to my website at http://www.geocities.com/itkwm This month's recipe, Grandma's Stuffed Cabbage, was a favorite in our house when I was growing up. As well as being delicious, my mother made this recipe because it was economical and good for you. Cabbage is high in Vitamin C. One cup of cooked cabbage provides 114 mg. of Vitamin C, which is double the Recommended Daily Allowance and only 32 calories! Cabbage is also loaded with fiber. A one cup serving of cooked cabbage provides 6.6 grams of increased fiber in your diet, and we all know how important fiber is! So go buy a cabbage and get rolling! New recipes in the weight watchers segement this month include Key Lime Pie- 4 points, Meatloaf- 3 points, Broiled Salmon- 4 points, Spinach Sub with Chickpea Spread- 7 points, Cranberry Cornmeal Scones- 3 points and Chicken Divan- 6 points. These recipes are all very good, but the CHICKEN DIVAN is just divine...it's a "must try"! Let me know how you like it!
