KIM'S ORIENTAL SALAD
Happy Spring!  This is the season for salads! KIM'S ORIENTAL SALAD is one of those memorable taste sensations that you won't soon forget!
WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!! I'm so glad you could come! Stay a while, I'll put some coffee on! The nice weather has finally arrived and now that we are enjoying warm, sunny days,  we can look forward to spring things, like planting gardens, having cookouts and eating more salads!!  This month's recipe is from my friend and co-worker, Kim.  The first time I made it and brought it to work, someone asked me if this was Kim's salad- so it must have made quite an impression.  I knew right then that it would be in my cookbook, and now it has made it to the top as a Recipe of the Month!!  This is one that you just have to try.
There are a few new delicious low-point recipes on the weight watchers segment~ let me know how you like them if you try any.  I am still losing weight on the program~ 40 lbs. now!!
New this month is an added segment on  my chalkware Santa figures that I call
Santa Folk~ yes, I make these in my kitchen too!!  So if you're looking for a special gift for someone, be sure to check out my Santa Folk.
And finally, in case you haven't noticed, I have changed the format of the website again!!  Now that my site has gotten so
BIG I think this will make the navigation easier.  Let me know how you like the new look.
IN THE KITCHEN ~  WITH MOM is my first cookbook!!  It was printed in December 1999.  It is a collection of 173 recipes that I have developed and acquired over the years from family and friends.  All the recipes featured  in "Recipe of the Month" come from the book.  The book has been reprinted, and is now available for $19.95, which includes shipping and handling.
