Howling At The Moon
These are my dogs.  Casey, the boxer is sweet and wonderful.  Sadie the schnauzer is only nice to me and occasionally my husband.  Anyone else, she has no problem trying to bite them.  Isn't that nice?
For those of you who are interested, Casey is a rescue dog.  We were able to get him from Boxer Rescue in Arizona.  Apparently, he was found wandering the side of the road and someone had the thougtfulness to pick him up and bring him in.

He is one incredible dog.  Of course, most of the time he behaves as if he's dumb as a stump, but that's ok.  It's obvious that he is a pure bred flashy fawn ....he's got good breeding.  While it's taken over a year for him to learn how to sit, we're very proud of his accomplishments.  He now is part of the family, is housebroken, well trained and very loved.  While he follows me through the house and only goes outside for me (he'll go out for my husband in the mornings but I think that's more out of neccessity than actual respect for the Master of the house) he has taken a liking to our oldest son.  Every night you can find Casey sound asleep on my son's bed....hogging the covers and stretched out so much that our poor child is huddled at the top of the bed shivering.  But, since the child isn't complaining and the dog isn't moving, I suppose it's an arrangement that works.

Sadie on the other hand is actually quite the sweet dog.  Some friends gave her to us after she tried to yank the nose off of their daughter.  Of course, Sadie was merely trying to pop the bubbles that the child was blowing and missed her mark.  She is my girl through and through.  She's 4 years old, we've had her for 3 of those years.  She doesn't take anything off of Casey and has no problems putting the 75 lb boxer in his place.

And although she is my dog, loves me the most and follows me everywhere, she won't let me groom her head when I clip her.  So right now, she looks beautiful from the neck down and totally ridiculous from the neck up.  Hey, if she wants to be a jerk.......
<-----This turtle is for my niece Amy.
