At Walking Wheel Farm there is a collection of antique and contemporary spinning wheels, looms and other home textile production tools such as: yarn winder, swift, flax hetchel, wool comb, wool card and more. The antique tools we use in living history events and at museum demonstrations. At home and at spinning and weaving guild meetings all tools can be used.

There will be coming a section on textile tool identification and parts nomenclature. In the mean time just contact the Itinerant Weaver with your questions.

You are invited to see the used equipment section for textile tools that are being offered for sale or trade by guild members.

Our own bee yard is the source of our raw honey and bees wax. The resident Itinerant Weaver is an EAS Master Beekeeper.

We present to you our hobbies for your enjoyment and enlightenment and also a page of links to museums and historical societies, technical journals and news letters. Please feel welcome to ask questions about spinning wheels, looms, textile tools and honey bees. We will answer what we know and try to give referrals on what we do not.
