This can be used as a a fuse or a fuse delay the choice is yours.
The burn rate on this can be unpredictable so if you are using this use a long length of it for safety.
Materials:
You need some kno3
Scissors
Newspaper
Boiling hot water
A Popsicle stick
Step 1: Add your kno3 to the boiling water and don't add too much water just enough to make it a paste.
Step 2: Cut a length of newspaper and wet it a tiny bit just enough to make the paper moist.
Step 3: Apply the kno3 to the newspaper using a Popsicle stick.
Step 4: Stick the paper in the sun to dry and so the water will evaporate, this could take a while if you are limited on sunshine.
Step 5: Once it is dry you will have kno3 crystals on your paper. This stuff will light with a normal match.
I guess you could put it in a piece of scotch tape and fold it over. Make sure the crystals are touching.
