Materilas:
1 plastic bottle (we like 2 liter best)
Some powder (BP or smokeless gunpowder works best)
Fuse
This is a very good explosive if short of powder.
Step 1: Take a 2 liter plastic bottle and poke a small hole in the bottle cap and add fuse.
Step 2: Make sure the bottle is dried out completely then add a Three and a half tablespoons of explosive and screw your cap on and your done.
Optional: It's not a bad idea to add a few layers of duct tape around the bottle for a better blast. This is a loud and not very destructive explosive.
I have found in my experinments, that sometimes if you are using a smaller bottle, that the powder just burns right through the bottle. To prevent this then find a more durable bottle, I have found if i can't get a 2 liter bottle then a smuckers Preservers plastic case is best. It is good thick plastic and has a thin metal cap. So the explosion doesn't go through the fuse hole. You can use anything with a thicker plastic though.
