| The I.H.S. Touchdown Club is open to parents of Varsity and Junior Varsity Football Players and Cheerleaders. ***Cloth is on sale*** Short sleeve t-shirts= $8. Long sleeve= $10. Shorts= $20 Hats= $12 *****"Catch up with Coach Boettger"...he has the "stuff" in his car at all times. ***The cloth will be on sale at the picnic*** Picnic= Sat., Sept. 8th, right after the JV football game...approx. 12:30pm Next Meeting: Tuesday, 7pm, Sept. 4th, in the P.E. classroom...enter right outside the lockerrooms. ***Attention shoppers...as you make your way down to see the Little Red Varsity Football Team play at Monroe-Woodbury, on Sept. 14th, there is a real treat for you. Right across from the football field is one of the largest outdoor shopping outlets in the East...The Woodbury Commons. Our advice: Take a half a day off and spend a few hours soaking up the 100's of shops...and then at 7pm...come see the Little Red "shock" the Crusaders Game time: 7 pm. ***Directions to M-W: 79east to 81 south to 17 east...take the Monroe exit then turn left...turn left again and there it is. As you enter the field...look up on the hill...that motel mansion looking building is there state of the art High School. If you have the time...it is worth the side trip. There are signs that direct you to the h.s.. What we do: 1. Fundraising: Cloth sale(t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.), selling 50/50 raffle tickets at home games and selling chicken B-B-Q tickets. 2. Pre-Game Dinners: We organize and serve pre-game dinners for the varsity players/cheerleaders. Held every Thursday before our home games. Food is donated by local restaurants. 3. Post-game pizza for the J.V.'s: We buy pizza, soda, etc. for the J.V. Cheerleaders/Football players after every home game. 4. Player accessories: We buy accessories such as socks, gloves, headbands, etc., for the varsity players/cheerleaders to enhance their professional look. 5. Away game lunches: We organize and distribute "box lunch" dinners/lunches after every away game for players/cheerleaders. They pay...we get it to them. 6. Senior night: We organize Senior Night where our senior players/cheerleaders are honored with their parents. Gifts for Mom/Dad are also included. 7. End of the Year Banquet: Help organize the end of the year banquet for the J.V.'s and the Varsity. 8. Design the end of the year banquet program handout. |
