One of the main philosophies of this website is to keep the Alumni informed of what is going on in the I.H.S. Footbal Program.  With this in mind we "kick-off" our Alumni Update section with an amazing story:
With only an hour and a half to go before Coach Moresco was to speak to the 100 football players, prior to the 2nd Annual Joe Moresco 7 vs. 7 Passing Tournament...an "alum." proceeded to donate $1,000.00 to the I.H.S. Football Program!!!

William R. Dyess, who played football for Coach Moresco and the Little Red was generous enough to donate $1,000.00 to the Little Red Football Program.
William works for Gelbwaks Insurance Services, Inc. in Plantation, Florida.
Coach Bob Gneo (present Head Football Coach at I.H.S.) immediately targeted the money for new away jerseys.  The I.H.S. Booster Club has already given us new home jerseys and pants

Thank you William, the jerseys look GREAT!!

* Also, thanks go out to George Dentes...who played on that 1970 State Championship Team...for organizing the Moresco Stadium Dedication in the Fall of 2000. George has also supplied us with some great pictures from the glory years in the late 60's and early 70's. These pictures will grace our website shortly!  Thank you George.
