The 1998 I.H.S. Little Red Football Team began with many changes. Coach Fazio lost many of his long time varsity assistants and "staff changes" were evident. Coach Baker was assigned to the Junior Varsity(to Coach with newcomers Darryn Solotoff and Ralph Boettger while the entire J.V. Staff(for the past 6 years) was promoted to work with Coach Faz.
Wholesale changes were the norm even with the players. When Coach Albertsman, Coach Bucci and Coach Gneo were promoted to the Varsity they also brought up many sophmores: Jeff Welch, David Ellison, Joe Ault, Jeff Huling, Ryan Cummings, etc.. |
