| DESCRIZIONE DEL SITO: ISTITUTO TECNICO PER GEOMETRI "NICOLO' PACASSI" L'Istituto Tecnico per Geometri � presente nella citt� di Gorizia dagli anni immediatamente successivi alla seconda guerra mondiale. Si � trasferito nell'attuale sede nel 1981. L'edificio in cui � collocato � stato ottenuto dalla ristrutturazione di due ali dell'ospedale psichiatrico in cui oper� il famoso professor Basaglia che promosse la riforma dei manicomi in Italia. L'edificio consta di due ali di cui una � impegnata dalla scuola mentre l'altra dalla sezione staccata dell'Universit� di Trieste per la Politica del Territorio e, in parte, da laboratoti ed aule di disegno per i futuri geometri. Nella scuola sono presenti aule speciali per le varie attivit� didattiche tra cui quelle di: fisica, chimica, audiovisivi, costruzioni, informatica e lingue straniere. La scuola � dotata inoltre di palestra e campo sportivo in tartan per le attivit� motorie degli alunni. L'istituto � adiacente al parco dell'ex-OPP ( Ospedale Psichiatrico) in cui sono presenti numerose variet� di piante e arbusti di grandi dimensioni provenienti da paesi lontani. |
| SITE DESCRIPTION: THE PACASSI TECHNICAL INSTITUTE. The technical Institute for Land-surveyors has been located in the city of Gorizia since the years immediately after the Second World War. It was trasferred to its actual headquarters in 1981, after the renovation of the two wings of the psychiatric hospital in which professor Basaglia ( famous for his reform of the asylums in Italy) practised. In the park adjacent to the Institute there are numerous varieties of plants and bushes, both more and less prized, as well as several of the pine groves which come from far-off countries. The building is composed of two wings: one occupied by the Institute and the other in part by the local campus of University of Trieste, dedicated to Territorial policy and special classrooms and laboratories of the Technical Institute in which the learning activities of chemistry, phisics and design, construction, computer science and foreing languages are located. The school is equipped with a gym and a tartan athletic track. |
