Even In My Dreams!
Every night I go to bed, I hope to have a peaceful rest, I close my eyes and silently pray, Wishing I would dream the best. Sweet Dreams fill my mind, Of Happy times and Laughter, There's a Smile on everyone around, Comforted, my heart unwinds. And then, I look around, I find, you are not there, Gone is the joy,the colour, Now the dream is hard to bear. I sit up and reality, Comes back to me in a flash, The tears flow unbidden, The dream is gone with a Crash. A sudden flood of memories, Brings the pain back in my Heart, Every moment spent together, Plays in my eyes from start. And then, the Nightmare begins, The truth, I'd never see you again, The void, that is never going to fill, The pain, the hatred, the rage,that kills. Even in my dreams, My life is never ever nice, Ever since I've lost you, I feel I'm never going to rise.
