This hash appeared to signal the start of summer in Victoria. Some would say it is about time! The hares were Stroke Alone and Grog, although from the looks of things, much of the trail was set by Stroke with firm guidance from Grog. The weather was fine and the sky very blue. The pack was joined by a couple of American hashers for the day: S.W.A.P. ("Still Without any Pussy" - where is Pussies Galore when you need her?), a lonely hasher from Port Angeles; and Humungous, a father and husband who up and ran off on his wife and children, following the siren of the VH3, so to speak… A virgin by the name of Olga was also dragged out by Plumber's Mate for a bit of exercise.
Stroke set a decent and run-able route through Esquimalt, although Stools got lost at one point and managed to re-acquire trail only after stumbling about for awhile. A lovely scenic view was introduced to the virgin and visitors at Highrock Park and the pack was run back down to the sea to the Beer Check. Unfortunately, this was at Sea Lettuce Cove and the seasonal rot was just picking up steam (see Deep Shit's June 2004 run) Nothing like a hydrogen sulphide laden breeze wafting across us as a counter-point to the cool amber nectar rolling down one's throat. Suffice to say that the assembled peanut gallery quickly grew used to it - they've had similar experiences in Esquimalt before (ibid. Deep Shit, June, 2004).
Down downs were impartially inflicted upon the innocent and guilty alike. The virgin and the visitors were downed for their participation. Co-wankers of the week were B.U.B. (whining) and Stroke Alone (the setting of untranslatable trail hieroglyphics). Humungous got to drink out of his new shoes and Squeeky drank for showing up with three bitches. Both Floppy Snatch and Itchy Buns later confessed to this scribe that they too had been charged, but really can't remember why. I suppose that is the effect of age - the mind begins to go before the leg muscles - just ask Bushsquatter.
And speaking of aged, failing minds, where is Jack-off these days?
