The Information Technology Board of Appalachia

 
 

The Information Technology Board of Appalachia's goal is to enhance lives within the region utilizing information
technology. Advances in computer application allow residents to partake in the technological society regardless of
computer save or social economic restrictions. Through application of multi media (text, graphics, video, animation,
sound) and computer science (hardware & software design) jobs and businesses will be created that train and
employ youth to research, develop, apply and maintain an information network linking all citizens of Appalachian
Ohio. By presenting and preserving the rich heritage unique to the region, persons may develop an appreciation of
the diversity contained within. Information will include music, news, opinion and all things relevant to daily life. This
will be accomplished through simultaneous dispersion of information via webcast and non-commercial broadcast. In doing so we empower our community and ourselves.
