It is time to renew your membership for the new school year. This year has been extremely successful.  We were able to offer two scholarships to Siena with a grant from the NJ Italian American Heritage Foundation. Highlights included a successful Heritage Day at the Coccia Institute at MSU,  Essay Contest and the lecture series “Focus on Sicily sponsored in conjunction with Caldwell College.   The following activities are being planned for the 2008-2009 school year:

·            Primo Incontro – September 13, 2008 Workshop: “Italian through Invention: Science and Art – Leonardo da Vinci”;  Special guest Dr. Anthony Tamburri, AATI President & Dean of the Calandra Institute; Our recipients of the 2008 scholarships will return to speak about their experiences in Siena.  Posters will be given out and MORE…

·            October  Contest  “Andrea Palladio”

·            Italian Heritage Day (Coccia Institute, MSU)

·            ITANJ Poetry Contest

·            ITANJ Essay Contest

·            Siena Scholarships-for deserving HS Seniors/Juniors
