| Madison's NYC Page: ME: Hey I'm Madison, this page really isnt about me, except a few stories, but it's about my Favorite place, New York City. I love NY and just about everything i do some how is effected by NYC. Broadway, SNL, Movies, all happen in NYC. Plus the 9-11-01 thing, so jsut keep reading. Broadway I love Broadway, it's a real magical place and if you've been there i think you'll agree. But when you think of broadway, what do you think of? Musicals right? Thats what i think of here are the Top 10 Recomended musical to see (some are not on Broadway any more but you can probably rent the movie or see it at a high school): (May not be in precise order) (These were chosen by of the music and the story line) 1.) Oliver ***** 2.) West Side Story ***** 3.) 1776 ***** (great cast in the movie) 4.) Cabaret ***** 5.) Fiddler on the Roof top ***** 6.) Annie ***** 7.) Singin in the Rain ***** 8.) Jane Eyre **** 9.)Cats **** 10.)Damn Yankees **** There are also some really good food around there, i dont know the name of the reasteraunt but i know the area of it, it's a small Italian Reasteraunt, it is where Jane Eyre was running right next to it. That isnt a very good description but maybe you'll get lucky and find some one who knows. Its also about a block away from where you get cheap tickets. Time Square My faveorite place in NYC is Time Square, there are TV shows and i got to goto TRL, and you can be on TV so easily! And the lights. My Favorite Sighn is the Giant Coke bottle, It is really cool, I know a little bit about it acctually. You know those little gloowy things where there is plastic strands and a samll light at the end? well that is what the coke bottle is made of! and it rotates! and a straw comes out and drinks it! i love it, ok sorry im being a dork. But u cant get an advertisement on Time square unless they are lit up some way. And right near there is the Garment District The Best shopping EVER! Goto The Big Man it is the best "dollar" store ever, i quoted dollar because its more then a dollar some times but thats what its called. And of Course Macys! That is the only Macys I like. It is so great! Ne way. You can also get killer Pizza there and great fabrics. I got this awesome pleather there but they also had these beautiful silks and fancy materials from India. Central Park In Central park you can goto the place from "You've Got Mail" (If you can actually find it) and go on tours and bike rides but I think its really cool how you look one direction and it is green and beautiful and there are duckys and then you turn around and you see sky scrapers and taxis and people with brief cases. Unfortuanatly I always get lost in Central Park lol. But i love the sound of car beeps next to the clops of the horses feet. SNL SNL is my favorite show, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Will Ferrel, and Cheri Oteri are my favorite Even If they aren't all there NE more. O and KT NO NO ITS TOO SEXY, but i must. ok sorry. um its on @ 11:30 on NBC If you wanna c it live and its on @ 12:00pm, 1:00, 6:00pm, 11:30pm 1:00am and 2:00am on Comedy Central but i recoment it earlier if you wanna stay awake. Well thats not all i have 2 say about NYC but there isnt enough room So CYA!
