In The West there Is no more Katechon[1].

A few days ago 'four former pilots of drones on behalf of the Air Force have written an open letter to President Obama to tell the horror of executors of the program (controlled by the president) of targeted killings from the air. They described the cruelty and meanness. From their screen in Virginia, killing people in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, thousands of kilometers away. They Kill mainly civilians, according to prearranged lists based on intelligence information; often those who kill innocents are blatantly have nothing to do with Islamic terrorism.

“In the short term they’re good at killing people, but in the long term they’re not effective. There are 15-year-olds growing up who have not lived a day without drones overhead, but you also have expats who are watching what’s going on in their home countries and seeing regularly the violations that are happening there, and that is something that could radicalize them.”

The four men have tried to justify their disobedience citing the ineffectiveness of their killings: the system creates more terrorists and Islamists than they kill. But it is the realization that, over time, has made it revolting doing what they do every day, from the video. Because, contrary to the fighter pilot and the bomber, they see the carnage they cause when they press the button. On the television screen in color, they see the woman in burka who bleeds, the old bus or the pickup hit that catches fire, leaving the dying and fall quickly, spilling a red lake, the charred bodies who smoke and are still moving. The drone flies over almost stopped the place of the massacre, he sees the pictures in the office in the US, the desks with coffee cups of Starbuck.

The operators of drones are made to enter a world where you're encouraged to severity, where the institutional culture is to deny the humanity of the people who appear on their screens. The four men are Michael Haas, Brandon Bryant, Cian Westmoreland and Stephen Lewis. Their open letter was picked up by various media[3], were interviewed by the Guardian. The American public then knows what their democratic state does every day in offices heated or air-conditioned, with the Coke machine in the hallway.

There is a real difference with what America does with his “demokrazia”? Under the eyes and the complicity of  the West ,  so under  our eyes?  So what is really the west that believes to be the Enlightenment, the Civility, unlike the cutthroat of ISIS?
