Hello hello my friend. I'm Anthony, a nineteen-year-old college student from Pensacola, FL. You might be struggling to understand the basis of the name "Italarican." Well, I'm half Italian, half Puerto Rican... an Italarican! We Italians take great pride in our roots, while we Puerto Ricans have a strong passion for showing people who we are. Basically, I know who I am and feel grateful for my roots.
I left Pensacola during the summer of 2000 to begin a new chapter in life: college. I study criminology at the University of Florida in Gainesville (Go Gators!). Of course, I don't do schoolwork 24/7. Music fills a great chunk of my life, whether I'm playing or listening. Playing jazz on my saxophone, trumpet, or piano relaxes me. As for my music collection... I come from a home of over 4,000 cd's and 2,000 vinyls! I have an eclectic ear, but my absolute favorites are jazz (esp. Joshua Redman) and mainstream rock (Lenny Kravitz doesn't make a bad song). Whenever I have time, I enjoy playing tennis, basketball, or ultimate frisbee (It's a law that every college boy must play this game; I'm still learning). My television is on a lot too. The Sopranos and The Simpsons are the two greatest shows on television today, bar none; I have almost every episode of both shows on tape. My favorite movie is Life is Beautiful, and I'm not ashamed to say it still puts a tear in my eye (well, maybe I'm a little bit embarrassed, but what can I do?)
I'm just learning this computer stuff. It might be a fad for me, so don't expect many new or innovative things on this site. Basically this serves as a tribute to anyone or anything that's special to me. I just hope you like what you see because this is pretty much me! |
