This is the website for the book chain of comic stories written by and starring Hannah and Jess.

The original book 1.2

There are currently eight 'Books'. Starting with 'Book One' and then it's sequel 'Book Two', followed by 'Book Three', 'Book Four' etc! To begin with, the stories are written by hand in exercise books. Because the stories are quite long, four exercise books are used per story, which is why when you logged onto the site there were links labelled Book 3.1 - 3.4 or 1.1 - 1.4. This divides a single story into quarters and each quarter of the story has its own profile page, statistics, picture (which was drawn in the original exercise book) etc.

We have recently re-labelled the sites, as it became apparent that the old labels were confusing people - when we referred to "book three", do we mean the third quarter of one of the books or the whole of Book Three itself? Because of this, we have re-labelled the websites with codes.
For example: The third quarter of Book One would be 1.3; the second quarter of Book Three would be 3.2.

We hope this makes it easier for you all!

When the stories are typed up they are divided into chapters to make them easier to read online. We realised that it can be a little inconvenient for visitors that they couldn't jump to a single chapter, but had to trawl through what they may have already read to. To remedy this, we have been making index pages for each quarter of each book so you can jump to whichever chapter you left off at.

Some of the site's content is not relevant to a single quarter of the story, and these pages are listed on the homepage. These pages include the Apologies and Soundtracks pages.

So, to read a story, start by clicking on the first quarter of the book. When you have read all the chapters there, return to the homepage and continue with the second book to find out what happens next in the story, and so on. Books One to Three are not directly continuous, but sometimes we refer back to things that have happened in previous books, so we recommend that you start with Book One and read the stories in order. Books Four, Five and Six are much more continuous and flow pretty much as one story.

There is just one exception to the rule however (there's always one) - Book Six is slightly different in that there are THREE versions of it. Yes. We know. Crazy. The story as to why this happened it helpfully explained on the About The Book page under Book Six.

We would like to remind our readers that the stories and the site are just for a bit of irreverent fun. Please do not take offence to anything we say - none of it is serious, honest!
