Are the tables-a-turnin'?! Is it possible that Hannah is now going to be winning these spelling competitions? Not that this is a competition, or that there is any competitive behaviour between Jess and Hannah over this. No, not at all.

rainbow of colours

Because Jess and Hannah had got so incredibly sick and tired of Book Six by the time they reached 6.3 and wanted to buy an enormous sledge hammer and beat the books to death, they tried to liven things up for themselves. Instead of writing in ordinary fountain pens, or blue or black biro which have been the stable writing tools of the past 5 books, Jess and Hannah started using brightly coloured felt tips to enhance their mood and try and make Book Six a little more fun (if that's possible).

The colours that featured in Book 6.3 are: dark green, dark blue, purple, hot pink, light blue, more purple, red, yellow, a turquoise/Tenerife kind of blue, light green, a darker blue than the light blue but not as dark as the dark blue, army green, grass-green, salmon pink and neon pink.

Exciting stuff.

bizarre grammar/sentences

Hannah emerged out of the kitchen with the best weapons she muster- Hannah

-and Chris who a tea-towel tied around his head - Hannah

Quickly, now! The presented said. Jess

A door in the room entered and an alien with a clipboard walked in. - Hannah

picture

A great picture here. Jess drew it and then wrote vertically down the page 'Don't say ANYTHING. It's Book Six and I DON'T CARE!'. However, what Jess fails to realise is that somehow, exceptionally cleverly, where she made her mistake and then stuck a square piece of paper over the top, securing it with sticky tape and drawing over the top, it has somehow created a 3D vision spectacular. If you paid ANY attention in Book Six, Version Two, Book 6.3, you'll have realised that Jess and Hannah entered the creepy alien world through a door. Jess has somehow (and without meaning to) made it look like Hannah and herself are standing in that doorway. Amazing.

blurb on the back

Jess has made a huge mistake and now she wants to flee the country. Except she can't, because both her and her mistake (Kurt) are on a Space station in outer Space. Will Hannah be able to save her from a fate worse than a Britney Spears album? Good God, I hope so.

critics' reviews/comments

"Wow, Jess is showing TRUE feelings for a MAN!" [Hannah, impoverished author]

SILENCE. [The sound of major writer's block]

"Three down, one to go..." [Jess, author who never wants to see the number six again]

"I want my money back." [Critic who had to buy his own copy to review]
