Welcome to Chapter Three! Jess's writing is in the black script whilst Hannah's is in dark blue.

5 minutes later, Hannah turned to Chris.
“Your best mate's a bastard.”
“Oh, you think yours can do better?” Chris threw her his mobile.
Hannah went to key in Jess's mobile number then realised she'd never learnt it. She decided to look in his inbox instead. She worked down through 3 from Ben, 5 from Daniel and then came across something from a 'Louise'.
'Hi darling, hope all goes well, see you when you get back, L xx'.
“Who's THIS!!?” Hannah screamed.
“My twin sister.”
“Oh.” Hannah turned the mobile back towards her and went to the most recent message – it was from Daniel. Hannah opened it and gasped. “How DARE he??!”
“What?” Chris looked up. Hannah shoved the mobile under his nose. “Oh, that.”
“What does he mean?”
Well…”

“LOOK, CHRISTOPHER!” Hannah erupted. “Our marriage ain't gonna run so smooth if you keep exchanging smutty comments about me with your bastard friends!”
“Keep your head, girl!” Chris yelled. “Now remember that goddamn number!”
Hannah shut her eyes and hundreds of numbers floated through her brain.
“Got it yet?”
“Wait.”
“Come on, Hannah!”
“Hang on!”
Hannah frowned in concentration. There was only one thing for it. She grabbed her phone. “One one one one one one one one one one one. Hello? Jess? Damn!” Hannah hung up. “One one one one one one one one one one two. Hello? Jess? Damn!”
“Tell me you're not-“
“One one one-“
“Hannah, NO!”
“-one one one one one-“
NO!”
“-one one three-“
“ARRGH!”

“Hello, Jess?”
“Is that your name?”
“No, where's Jess?”
“It's a felony to ring this number for any reason other than an emergency.”
“I'm IN an emergency!!”
“What's wrong?”
“Me and my boyfr- husband-“ Hannah smirked. “Have been kidnapped!” Boy, that sounded good, thought Hannah. Only problem was that it was a reality.
“Where are you?” The woman on the other end of the line sounded really concerned. Hannah thought she wouldn't bother if someone had just called a wrong number.
“Florida.” Hannah replied.
“Travelling in which direction?” The woman on the end of the line sounded urgent.
“Chris?” Chris, who had just about nodded off looked up. “Which direction are we travelling in?”
Chris looked out the window. “North-west?”
“North-west.” Hannah spoke into the phone.
“We'll be there right away.” The lady on the other end of the phone hung up.
“What a strange phone call.” Hannah muttered.
“Who was that?” Chris asked.
“Some random woman.” Hannah gave Chris the phone who looked at the dialled number.
“911?! YOU STAR!” Chris hugged her. Hannah had no idea why, but she wasn't going to complain.

“Do you think they'll find us?” Hannah asked, hopefully.
“We can only wait,” Chris pulled a bottle of champagne out of the mini-bar. “And hope.”

“Hi. This is Hannah. I called about 3 hours ago about the fact I'm being kidnapped?”
“Keep talking.” The voice on the other end of the phone was less friendly than before.
“Well…you said you'd send someone to save us and…you haven't.”
“Look, missy - we've just gone to war with Iraq – we have much more important things to think about than some stupid kidnapping!”
“You've gone to war on Iraq? Wait until I tell Doddy!” The guy hung up. “WAIT! WAIT!”
“He hung up! And they're not coming!”
“WHAT?!”
“CRAP! CRAP!” Hannah tried to open the door but it didn't work.
“We've been driving for eight days!” Chris moaned.
“Eight days?!”
“Sorry, eight hours.”
“Get it right.”
“Sorry.”
“You know, we could annul the marriage without anyone knowing still.”
Chris looked up blankly. “Why would you want to do that?”
“I don't know!” Hannah cried. “If the truth must be said, I still fancy Daniel.”
There was a silence in the back of the limo.
“Damn.”
