| Front and side veiw, notice the hide'a'way headlights. when they are out the grill is still complete and looks alot like a 66-67 Cornet. You cant really tell there but i paint the grill medalian blue to match the car, its was origially red white and silver, but mine was all faded and messed up so i took some brake clean spray to it and pained it transparent blue. | Rear Side view, in that picture the taillight doesnt look so bad, but i guess they guy before be backed into something or was rearended casue it reads "H A R G E" and its all jerry rigged to be legel. i looked into getting a new one.... um ya like $350 for just the lense though Year 1. we'll wait on that one. i need a clear trunk medaltian to make it match the front , casue right now its a faded and cracked gold'ish. |
| 383ci Big Block, K&N air filter, edlebrock aluminum intake, edlebrock 750cfm carb, Mopar electronic ignition /w distributor, 440 high rise exhaust manafolds, Mopar purple shaft 484-484 lift cam, 30 over bore with TRW pistons, Be Cool 4 core aluminum radiator(its there trust me), Powermasters 75 Amp Alternator, space saver starter(dakota starter), 2 3/4" manural bent tubes to 2 flowmaster delta serise 2 chamber mufflers.... its a work in progress, i need to do the heads next. |
| This is probibly one of the coolest features on this car. as you can see the rear steats fold down along with the arm rest. the black pannel witht eh 6 x 9 in it also folds down into the trunk. this car was tested in 67 to hold 2 full size surf boards. my buddy and i camped in the back of it once and besided the sun fri'in us in the morring it was actully pretty comfortalbe. |
| The car sat for 10 years before i got it, with a rebuilt motor and trans, they both had about 100 miles on them. i took the motor out and resealed it cleared it up and add the cam. the car was complety stock beisides the (literaly) Kmart muffler and Kmart shocks. no rust,it had a white vinal top on a mediem blue car with white walls and hub caps(which i still have). Motor was a 2 barrel with single exhaust stock. It was a grandpa 383 car basicly. i need to do something with the driveline, it came with a 2.74 rearend (in 8 3/4) non posi and a 727 auto trans. I found a 3.91 non posi (third member) at pick n pull for $30 so i did that. its gonna get new u-joints, shift kit, and a 4.10 posi as soon as i get enough dough. Im 19 and I used to watch the dukes of hazzard when I was little so I wanted a 69 charger really bad (still do) but I never knew the 66-67 chargers existed till I found mine, but there actully pretty awsome for 1 instead of the "garage door" hide away headlights like the 68-71 had, mine roll around and the grill is complete with them out or in(looks like a cornet with the out). the rear seats fold down and the rear panel tha leads into the trunk folds down, and not only does it do all that cool stuff, it still manages to Haul Ass! |
