Sixty-Eight (Amy); Caffeine.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Tim, did I wake you?"

"No, it's okay, I've been awake for hours."

"Okay..." I sigh. "Can't you sleep either?"

"Not really... Guess drinking coffee doesn't help that, either, right?" he chuckles hollowly, and I almost ask him whether he thinks he's Heather, but I stop myself in time. It won't do anything for him --or me-- to think of her and where she might be... Stop it Amy!

"Not really, no. Mind if I come over?" I don't want to be stuck here alone any longer. I don't know what I'll do to myself... And I think Tim needs some company; it can't be good for him, staying alone in the house he shared - shares - with Heather.

"Yeah... Um... If you want to..." he doesn't exactly sound thrilled, but I guess that's just his way... Especially now.

"Okay, see you in a bit. Bye Tim." I hang up and sit on my bed for a minute, then pick up the phone again and dial Tim Roth's number.

"...Murgh...?"

"Hi, Tim, did I wake you?" That sounds somewhat familiar...

"Yeah, but don't worry. What's up?" He asks.

"Come over to Tim's with me?" I suggest. "I figure he needs a couple of us around."

"Sure."

"You okay?"

"As okay as I'll ever be."

"Danny?" The name tastes good, yet bad on my lips as I say it. God I hope nothing's happened to him... And he'll come back...... Alive.

"Yeah." Tim replies sadly, pulling me from my panicked thoughts.

"He'll - he'll be okay..." I try to comfort him, but my voice is too worried to sound reassuring.

"Yeah, he will." I wish I felt as confident as Tim sounds.

"I'll see you at Tim's," I tell him. "Call Johnny for me? I'll call Helena and Lisa. We'll all get together..."

"Sounds good. I'll see you."

"Bye." I hang up. This fiasco is affecting more and more people. It's ridiculous; what the hell is all this anyway?! I sigh and shake my head, dialling Jenny's number, figuring the actress will still be awake; she tends to keep ridiculous hours. But there's no answer. I sigh again, shrugging slightly, hang up, and dial Lisa's number. After a long while it's picked up.

"Hello?" It's Lisa. And she sounds suspiciously breathless.

"Hi Lisa, it's Amy. I didn't wake you up, did I?" I know full well I didn't! I hear Lisa give a slight laugh.

"No, no you didn't. Is something wrong?"

"Tim's not been sleeping..."

"Again?" Lisa sounds worried.

"Again." I confirm. From what I've heard from Lisa, Tim got --gets?-- periods of insomnia. These seem worse than his previous ones, though. Lisa mentioned something about nightmares, but I don't know... I haven't asked him. Probably best not to... "I think he needs some company... Other Tim's calling Johnny, I'll call Helena, and I did try Jenny, but she wasn't in," my voice becomes amused. "Don't know where she is, do you?" I ask innocently. I chuckle as Lisa hesitates.

"Uh... Yes. Yes I do..." She laughs slightly. "Don't laugh!" she adds as I start. "I'll tell her."

"Okay. So, you're coming to Tim's?"

"Uh huh. We'll be there soon."

"Okay. Make sure you're decent!" I laugh and hang up, Lisa's admonishing voice still sounding as I do so. Even in this situation, something good is still around... I let myself smile, then get up and head for my car to get to Tim's.
