Ten (Amy); 'Friends'...?!

When Heather said Tim had invited a couple of friends I wasn't expecting to see who I did. Tim Roth, Johnny Depp, Lisa-Marie and Helena Bonham-Carter. Bloody hell! I suppose I should have gotten used to 'big names', and Johnny is a sweety... But... Bloody hell! Well, we were supposed to be going to a Queen tribute gig/show/thing, but too many people insisted on coming up to us and bothering the two Tims, Helena and Lisa, so here we are, back at Heather and Tim's house, drinking and listening to exceptionally loud Queen music. I suppose I've never really noticed it before (what with him being an ape and all), but Tim Roth is actually surprisingly good-looking...

Okay, so, thinking about something else now... I take a mouthful of the random alcoholic fruit thing Heather concocted, and look around the room. It's fairly dark, the only light coming from a few practically submerged lamps; Heather and Tim aren't exactly the worlds' tidiest couple. Said couple are sat across the room from me, Heather leaning against Tim and looking half asleep. Johnny, Lisa and Helena are sat around them, Helena leaning on Johnny and looking surprisingly 'cute'. The three seem to be talking to Heather and Tim, although it doesn't look like Heather's doing much in the way of talking, bless her!

Behind me and to the left are Danny and Tim (Roth), the former making the occasional snarky comment about the evening's social events, which Tim appears to be agreeing with. Sigh... I get up from my spot on the floor and join Helena, Johnny, Lisa and co., but I'm not really interested in their conversation. I risk a glance over my shoulder at Danny, and he gives me a look that almost causes me to drop my drink. I missed him a lot more than I thought I would, but staying in America just wasn't an option right then. I was having trouble adjusting to Miss Heather Lloyd-Gale becoming Mrs Burton, and I wasn't ready for a relationship after her, and Suzie. And Danny? Well, he isn't the most stable of relationship partners, and I'd be constantly worrying about him wanting to go off with someone else, like I did with Heather... And there's more chance of that with him.

But... I sigh softly and look back around. Heather's dozed off, and Tim's explaining that she hasn't slept. I bite back a comment about what the pair of them were doing last night to cause her not to sleep, and look back at Heather. She looks so cute, curled-up and angellic, all blonde hair. The picture of innocence. Not that there is anything innocent about her! I chuckle to muself and once more look around. Danny and Tim are in deep conversation about something. Good for them........ I feel a little mutinously jealous; everyone's getting on, chatting away, enjoying themselves, except me. Great.

Just fucking great.
