Meopham Colts Away League

We travelled to Meopham full of hope in this match and it began very strongly. Joe Muro made some great tackles and so did Reece Threed, but he was later taken off with a sprained ankle after a brave tackle. They did score lots. At half time it was 7-0. we went back out there with 9 players and all we did was shoot, shoot and shoot. Andrew Elliott had a volley on the half way line which was on target, but the keeper made a great save. eventually the scoring started again, but with both sides scoring. Mark Jones played a lovely through ball as Thomas Brooker struck a lovely outside of the foot shot and James hockley volleyed in a corner. meopham were denied more goals from 2 saves off the line and Meopham were denied a penalty. the final score was 12-2. League position 8th Man of the Match: Andrew Elliott.

Dartford Town Home League

Today we faced a new team we had never played before. This team were new so we didn't know anything about them so we just had to go out there and play our best. The match was not one to remember as after 30 seconds when Dartford scored a marvellous overhead kick and things only got worse. At half time the score was 6-0 and we knew it was over we just went out there and tried not to allow any more goals in. So saying that we did the exact opposite and went on to lose 10-0. League position 8th Man of the Match: Mark Robson

Real Gima Away League

We travelled to Cygnets Leisure Centre in Northfleet to take on league leaders and holders
Real Gima. We knew the odds were against us so we just had to keep a clean sheet and hope for the draw. We stared well, but as usual we failed and wentin at half time 4-0 down. We can't believe it and we were wondereing and hoping when will we ever win or draw a game. The second half was poor as well as we went on to to lose 8-0. League position 8th Man of the Match: Lewis Deakin

The Owls Home Cup

A new year, a new competition and a new start. We started off the new year against the owls in the easter cup first round. We started poorly and went 2 goals down. Then Tom Brooker went down in the box and we were awarded a penalty. Up stepped Tom and unluckily it was saved. Seconds later we had a corner and it was nicely struck in by Jack Spencer. 2-1 at half time. Second half we went downhill and let in 3 more goals and went on to lose 5-1. We were getting somewhere at least we kept the score respectable. League Position 8th Man of the Match: Jack Spencer.
