He wassaid to be the wisest by Galadriel. Gandalf always loved and admired hobbits, for he could see great power within the hobbits, a power that could change the fortunes of the world. When Biblo found a ring in the caves of the misty mountains he believed it was the one ring, but he left it to Bilbo. After many years Bilbo decided to move to Rivendell to Gandalf pursued Bilbo to leave the ring to Frodo. His fears were later convinced and he figured out it was the one ring. He sent Frodo to Rivendell so the ring would be safe. He then travelled to Isengard to seek the council from the leader of the Istari, Saruman. Saruman had betrayed Gandalf and was now allied with Mordor. Saruman inprissoned Gandalf. Gandalf was supposed to meet the four hobbits at the Inn of the Prancing Pony in Bree but due to his capture he could not make. He was rescued later by an eagle named Gwaihir. He then travelled to Rivendell and met up with the hobbits. He joined the Fellowship of the Ring. When they were passing through the mines of moria a Balrog attacked them. He was on the bridge of Kahzad-dum and he destroyed it but the Balrog brought Gandalf down too.... |
