I would
like to know what the
Sekretariat Melayu Muda thinks of Umno Youth (supporters')
threat to burn down the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall?
Is that a clear example of "maintaining strong cordial relations with
their counterpart from other races" and of "continuing to strengthen
that relationship based on the principles of respect, tolerance and
understanding"?
I think not.
I want to know why the SMM only have closed-door
sessions and private meetings. If they really want to know what the rest
of the population feel and thinks, why don’t they hold open forums to
discuss issues in a rational and calm manner?
I would also like to know what the Sekretariat Melayu
Muda thinks of the many police reports lodged by other groups against
Umno Youth for insensitive and uncalled-for statements, where no action
has ever been taken against them. Does the SMM think this is fair? Does
the SMM care?
Don't the SMM know that Prime Minister Dr Mahathir
Mohamad and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi themselves have
already said that the 'crutches' will have to go someday? So, when is
talk about these 'crutches' considered seditious and when it is not?
And why isn't the branding of the Chinese as
communists considered seditious too? Oops, I forgot what sedition is all
about. |
