| The purpose of this site is to give the oppertunity to anyone who has an opinion the chance to express it. Much of our society does not allow the "regular citizen" to possibility to be heard, and those who are heard are very quickly dismissed in many situations. | The American Society has been on the verge of becoming a very individualist society, many say it's already there. A lot blame the Internet. It provides us with all the information we could ever need and more. We can obtain any material object(s) we need just by clicking a few times on our mouse. What reason is there for anyone to leave there household? Why is there any reason at all for human contact when everything we need can come from a screen? What has caused a society that once was very social, to become so hidden from human contact? Is the Internet responsible for society becoming as individualistic and privatized as it has become. Or are there other reasons, maybe less obvious reasons, for why American citizens have lost so many connections to society. For those of you who believe this is a good turn for American Society why do you believe this. Those of you who do not, what can be done to change the way America is headed? | |||||||||||||||
