~Ryss's Intro~

"The Demon is free..."

It hadn't been spoken by any voice, but somehow they could all feel it... The chosen and the demon were two now. The day was at hand. They would all recieve the reward they had been promised as they followed the Demon.

A dark haired boy stood at the edge of a clearing, looking back on the place he'd called home all his life. He seemed no older than 16, but if one was to look in his deep green eyes, he appeared to be much older. He swiped at a stray strand of wavy black hair that had fallen in his eyes and smiled. It had been a long wait... but the Chosen would all fall. Everyone knew that. Now it was merely a matter of finding where the missing two had gone into hiding. Two... the summoner and the angel. His job was to find them. The Demon's power would call to it's followers, would lead them to it's resurection, just as the prophecies had said.

He turned away from the building, the smile still on his face. The Chosen... He chuckled to himself. Chosen for nothing but defeat.

The boy squinted up at the roof of the huge hotel, where he could make out the letters LLANON high at the top, barely visible in the shadows of the morning sun. It had been months since he left home on his journey to find the Demon and the hiding Chosen. This may not even be the right place, he thought to himself. But.. that may be exactly what the chosen had in mind. Why would the high and all powerful Chosen come to a simple hotel out in the middle of nowhere? Because it was a wonderful place to hide. Exactly where you wouldn't expect to find them.

He walked towards the front door, glancing from side to side. As he reached the door, he glanced down at himself to make sure he looked presentable. No reason to make a bad first impression. He dusted off the hem of his pants, and finding that to be the only problem, put on his best winning smile and reached his hand up to knock on the door.

His hand had barely connected before the door was jerked open underneath his fist and someone barreled out, straight into him.
