(...er... I just wanted to let y'all know that you really can't get too very angry at me for this one because it's been a long time since I've done any blatant character torture and (most) of you know that I have a difficult time resisting and anyways, this isn't that bad compared to, say, what I did to poor, poor Trill. Who, btw, i just fine right now.)

~Relita's Very Cold Tail~

Relita stared at the backpack sitting open on her bed. Warm clothes...check. flashlight...check. Extra batteries...check check. She quickly ran through the rest of her list, making sure she had everything she thought she'd need. When she was satisfied, she fastened her backpack, laced up her sneakers and grabbed her leather jacket. Okay. Ready to go. She was halfway out the door when she stopped and spun around, grabbing one last thing from her dresser. It was early, too early for anyone to be up yet, but she walked quietly anyway, practically tiptoeing down the hall. She paused for a moment to scrawl a quick message on a napkin, "Went to find niichan. If I'm not back by sunday I'm probably dead. Love you all! -Lita" She added smiley face at the end, and left it sitting on the counter where someone would find it should they chance to look. She hadn't told anyone where she was going or what, exactly, she had in mind to locate Sukita, because they would have told her not to go. That it was dangerous. And it was. But Relita had abandoned him once, and she wasn't about to do it again. And besides, she couldn't just sit there and do nothing. So she slipped out the back door and headed for the little red convertible she had been driving lately. It was a good time, but right now she was less concerned about a good time and more concerned about getting where she needed to get fast. Relita revved up the engine, cast one glance up at the darkened window that was Sukita's, another at the similarly dark window that belonged to Kiju, and blew kisses to them both.

"I'll be back" she said in here best terminator voice and burnt rubber as she sped off.
