Smarts: Really hard to tell. He’s extremely bilingual, having no accent when he speaks English, but he always speaks Chinese, so people tend to get the impression that he’s a dumb foreigner. All of his actions seem to be driven by mindless sex, but he’s never actually done anything to show that he’s really stupid or really smart or anything. I guess instead of “smart” or “dumb,” “horny” would be the best word for him.
Personality: Again, horny! Well, he acts really cute and bubbly and hyperactive…and much, much too affectionate. Though he generally seems to be careless about everything, he has shown that he can care deeply for certain people and things , and even though he can take tons of verbal abuse with a smile, he can be hurt. It’s just a matter of him having such a horny, happy-go-lucky attitude. It makes it hard to see the substance underneath.
Home Economics: He’s probably not even sure, when it comes to this. You can be sure, however, that he will have a very creative way of doing all the cooking and housework.
Fighting Skills: Pretty damn good. He doesn’t know how long he’s studied martial arts, but he’s been highly skilled at it ever since he can remember (which isn’t that long.) With all the powerful people around Llanon, though, his fighting skills aren’t really good for much except sparring or defending people.
Special Abilities: Highly overactive sex drive. He’s also done a few strange sort of magic tricks that have gone unexplained as of yet.
Competition: If Lai’s heart could belong to anyone, it’s Varuka. He really, really loves her, so you’d likely have a hard time convincing him to marry you if you weren’t in Vegas. There are a few other frequent sexual partners of his, but none that would give the two of you a hard time about getting married. As for how Varuka herself feels…well, you’d have to ask her.
In-Laws: Totally unknown. No one has the vaguest idea who his family is/was.
Economics: Lai Li is not really concerned with money. If it was ever an issue, I’m sure he could think of many different ways to get some cash in your pocket, though.
Sex: Excellent! Lai hasn’t had one sexual partner yet that wasn’t totally satisfied. Just be careful, if you’re not really into the hardcore, kinky stuff. He might be a little bit too much for you, and we wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt.
Overall: If you really did marry Lai Li, you would have to have a very open relationship. He may not be able to keep himself from sexing up everyone in sight, and he’d probably bring people over for three-ways all the time. If you’re into that, then great! You can give it a try. Don’t be too disappointed if you get turned down, though. Varuka is very special to him.
