Smarts: Jerome certainly didn’t walk out of the shallow end of the intelligence pool, but he’s not exactly Einstein, either. The thing about him is, he is very much the type to use his brain to solve any problem, but he often lets his emotions get the best of him, and he’s put himself in several awkward positions because he wasn’t thinking. He really is very smart, though, and very in touch with people’s emotions…when his own aren’t clouding his judgement.
Personality: Jerome can be overly serious sometimes, as is common to Scorpios, but he has an often very prominent humor-fun streak. As a Cetra, he is peaceful by nature, but he’s almost too willing to fight for his rapidly-losing goals and morals. When this violent side of him comes out, it’s usually accompanied by the desperation and regret that causes it. As the last full Cetra, Jerome knows that his race dies with him, and this knowledge sparks an emotion within him, that is almost incomprehensible. He rarely shows weakness or any emotion that would inspire pity, often masking these things behind humor or anger.
Home Economics: Jerome’s never been great with things like this, and is relatively clueless, especially when it comes to cooking. He catches on quickly, though, so if you could just teach him a few things…
Fighting Skills: Jerome is best at fighting when it comes to defending himself or others, as that’s what all his power is good for. He’s quick and precise with a sword, and the complete opposite of sloppy. It is very rare for him to pick a fight, but he won’t hesitate to do what needs to be done to protect the people he loves.
Special Abilities: As a Cetra, Jerome has just about every defensive magic ability that exists. He has everything from magic barriers, to healing ability, to the ability to temporarily take his opponent’s power. He can also do a lot of useless, pretty things, and talk to the Planet. This also means he can ask the Planet for favors, which can be things beyond his own power.
Competition: This is where things start to get a little difficult. He’s not technically taken anymore, but Fue-chan (the one who had “taken” him), may still have feelings for him, and would therefore provide a lot of competition, considering he’s still really in love with her. If not for her, though, you still have his first fiancée, Ellengia, to deal with. He was crushed by her death, and it took so much for him to move on to Fue-chan, that it might be difficult to pull him back out of his snail shell and get him to try again.
In-Laws: Nope. No living family at all.
Economics: Jerome’s a wanderer, so he doesn’t even know what skills he would have for any sort of real job. He can do lots of cool stuff, though, and even if he couldn’t get a real job, he’d make great money as a circus sideshow…y’know, being the last of an ancient race, and all.
Sex: He’s only had sex once, and it was with purpose…and passion, but mostly purpose. He wouldn’t even have sex with Fue-chan when he was with her, and not because it was illegal. His problem with sex is that he feels very wrong giving it to anyone but Ellengia, no matter how he may love that person. He’ll come out of this some day, but don’t be prepared for an immediate sexual relationship.
Overall: Jerome would be a very loving and protective life partner. He seems to want a lot of time to himself, though, so you can’t be too clingy. If you can get him to start again with you, just remember to take the relationship slowly. If you have a problem with jealousy, this isn’t a relationship to pursue, because he will never get over his first love. He will remain loyal to you, however, and he will die for you if it ever comes to that.
