Looks: Ana is very striking, if you’re into the small, young look. With the
mechanical body of a 12-year-old girl, she normally maintains a fairly
vapid-looking, wide-eyed innocence. Her strange shock of silver hair and
lack of real facial expression contain a unique beauty all their own.
Smarts: As far as knowledge goes, it doesn’t get much better than Ana. She
can store tons and tons of data, anywhere from important records that need
to be kept, to useless trivia, and she can work like a calculator. Her
logic is a little bit twisted, however, in that she was built to be a good
person, and that makes her very naïve because she doesn’t understand a lot
of very basic concepts. Like lying, for instance. In the midst of her
unbelievable wealth of knowledge, she doesn’t even know the meaning of the word.
Personality: She’s had a variety of emotion chips installed, so she has a
lot more personality than your average computer. She is generally very
quiet, never speaking unless spoken to, or unless her programming calls for
it. She is unable to lie or murder or do anything bad like that, which
renders her useless to her current Papa (or Master), whose every order she
must follow.
Home Economics: It doesn’t get much better than this. For cooking, she has
nearly everything built in, and practically doesn’t need a kitchen. She’s
also programmed with the cooking styles and cuisine recipes of over 60
different ethnic groups. As far as cleaning goes, she’s got everything
built in there, too. She would be more than happy to do everything around
the house for you, assuming her Master allowed her to do what you want her to do.
Fighting Skills: This is one area where she could be absolutely perfect, but
she is hindered (or perhaps blessed) by her moral chip, which no one has
been able to figure out how to remove. She cannot hurt or kill anyone, even
in self-defense, or even if her Master tells her to. It’s a shame, because
she’s very resilient and strong, and could have a number of different
weapons installed. She’s very good when it comes to harmlessly restraining
people, though.
Special Abilities: She can hold limitless knowledge without ever forgetting
anything, and she has lots and lots of little built-in gadgets for just
about any use. She has all the benefits of a computer, multi-tool, and
little friend, all rolled into one.
Competition: Ana has no real friends, and therefore no one who is currently
looking to court her. Your biggest problem is going to be Kinju, her
“Master.” She will be unable to so much as talk to you outside of basic
programming without his permission, and he is likely not very willing to give it.
In-Laws: Her creator and original Papa is dead, but her Master (Godpapa)
will be something to deal with. Assuming he lets you have at her at all,
her program that provides her loyalty to him is irreversible, and she’ll
have to do whatever he says no matter what you want out of the relationship
or how she may “feel” about it…and he is not generally a nice person.
Economics: Given the chance, Ana could make you loads of money. I think
how you would go about that would have to be up to you.
Sex: She is not programmed to perform any sexual acts. Though she knows
what sex is, she would not understand it if you tried to have sex with her.
If you’re creative enough, however, you could probably think of a way to get
sexual pleasure out of any one of her functions.
Overall: Ana would make an awesome person to have around the house, if you
could manage to get her there. You wouldn’t have to do any work at all, and
if you didn’t want a job, she could make money. She does have the right
programming for love and passion, so she would be able to feel for you, but
she may not be the ideal choice for someone to satisfy your emotional or
sexual needs. Getting her to marry you may also be more trouble than it’s
worth, considering the Kinju factor.
