~A Tail of Magic~

Kitty had a headache. Normally a couple of asprin and a warm blanket would fix that problem, but this wasn't normally. Normal people didn't try to design fixes for accidents involving Chaos magic. Then again, since when had she been normal?

At the moment, she was mostly watching as her alter-self tried to mix magics with Figment with rather bizzare results. More of her Peanut Gallery were hanging out in various lazy positions, watching the show. Komaine particularly found it hillarious, especially when one of their many failures resulted in Figment getting turned into a pink and silver rabbit.

Yvaul was helping all he could, but he mainly contributed expertise to the venture as CLAMP no Miko and Figment's powers far outclassed his own. When not limited, at any rate. Miko almost never reached her full potential, and Figment didn't have a host right now, so he couldn't reach his potential either.

But it was her fault that Yvaul's hair was pink, so they would have to fix it.

She winced as yet another attempt blew up, washing over them in a wave of pure Chaos magic. It didn't change anything this time, but it did result in a horde of light blue winged snakes that flew around annoying people until Zeraphim lost his temper and incinerated them. Useful, that. The demon seemed to have calmed down considerably ever since his 'chat' with Bella. Kitty had no idea how the other girl had tamed the wild beast, but she was -quite- glad that the demon wasn't trying to kill anyone anymore. Even if he was overly interested in pain. -.-

"Your shielding needs work."

Kitty watched through CLAMP no Miko's eyes as the miko looked up and blinked at the figure standing just inside the door. He lowered the hood of his black cloak, revealing shoulder length white hair and pale blue eyes.

"Dreamdance!" she exclaimed, blending with Miko so they shared their consciousness. They got up and hugged the young man, who smiled shyly.

"Missed you too. What are you doing anyway? I could sense it all the way in K'Vaia..." he asked.

She blushed. "Trying to fix an accident."

"Oh?" he asked. That led to an explaination of the little war she'd gotten involved in, her resulting coma, and the magical chaos wave that had resulted when CLAMP no Miko, deprived of Kitty's stabilizing presence, had lost her temper. When she finished, Dreamdance blinked.

"Oh. You're doing it wrong."

Every pair of eyes in the room turned to him, making the young man blush brightly. "Ah, that is, the concepts of magic may be different here, and...."

"We all know Tayledras finesse, dreamer," Yvaul said, interrupting, "So just explain how it should be done."

He did. It worked. They returned Yvaul's hair from pink to its normal snow white. Then they went on a search for all the other people and objects that had been affected so they could fix those too.

And Dreamdance? He shared a cup of tea with Yvaul while his eagle Vyrrue traded flying tips with Timothy.
