Membership of ISSCO is open to all individuals and institutions. What privileges do you enjoy as a member of ISSCO:

·        Receive the ISSCO Electronic Bulletin with the latest ISSCO news;
·        Eligibility to vote at Membership Meetings and Special Membership Meetings;
·        Mailing List information on latest news concerning Chinese overseas;
·        Network with scholars all over the world involved in studies of Chinese overseas;
 ·        Participate in ISSCO international and regional conferences;
·        Receive the Journal of Chinese Overseas as part of the membership when the journal is   published (expected 2005).

Membership categories and fees:

  1. Regular members: fee for 2004 to May 2005 amounts to Danish kroner 125 or EURO 16.

  2. Student members: fee for 2004 to May 2005 amounts to Danish kroner 75 or EURO 8.

  3. Life Member: US$ 500 or more

  4. Patron: US$5,000 or more

  5. Institutional member: US200 or more (annually)

At the moment, membership payment is only possible for one year. Make sure that all transfer costs are carried by you as the sender to reduce the transfer expenses for ISSCO.
