Special abbreviations
Gr (group) (worked over 14 sts) = 1 sc into next st, [1 hdc into next st] twice, [1 dc into next st] twice, [1 tr into into next st] 3 times, [1 dc into next st] twice, [1 sc into next st] twice.
Rev Gr (reverse group) (worked over 14 sts)= 1 tr into next st, [1 dc into next st] twice, [1 hdc into next st] twice, [1 sc into next st] 3 times, [1 hdc into next st] twice, [1 dc into next st] twice, [ 1 tr into next st] twice.
Work 2 rows each in colors A and B alternately throughout. Would also look good in more than 2 colors.
1st row: (right side) skip 2 ch (count as 1 sc), *1 Gr over next 14 ch; rep from * to end, turn.
2nd row: ch 1 ( counts as 1 sc), skip 1st st, 1 sc into next and each st to end working last st into top of turning chain, turn.
3rd row: ch 4 (count as 1 tr), skip first st, * 1 Rev Gr over next 14 sts; repeat from * ending last repeat in turning chain, turn.
4th row: repeat 2nd row.
5th row: ch 1 (counts a 1 sc), skip first st, *1 Gr over next 14 sts; repeat from * ending last repeat in turning chain, turn.
6th row: repeat 2nd row.
Repeat 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th rows for pattern.
