Yada, Yada, Yada

Maccabi Petach Tikva is very odd team, not very successful yet they always manage to knock all the big clubs. But they where always unstable team. Maybe Guy Lozon can make something better this year.

Gay or Guy Lozon? opps

No one believes that this year will be deferent because this team has a lot of power. Guy Lozon son of the owners is the coach of this team. Guy took Maccabi Petach Tikva last year after they where in the last place thanks to Eli Ohana. The team has one Israeli cup and 2 toto cups in their closet.
Lozon has good goalkeeper Sagi Shtraos that is back after some poor period. Shtraos should have been one of the best goalkeepers in Israel but didn’t due to some horrible mistakes in the goal. Kobi Shalo will be his replacement as a goalkeeper. Shalo is former Hapoel Tel Aviv goalkeeper.
Morad Megamadov and Sharon Tzofin will be the main men in the center of defense. Megamadov is a good sweeper that was in his way to Maccabi Tel Aviv few years ago but he was injured badly. Ismaeil Amar will play as right back will his friend Kobi Ganon will run up and down at the left wing. Tomer Ben Yosef is a good replacement for all the defenders. Kfir Partieli and Eitan Pariente will seek for more minutes on the field.
Idan Malihi will still be the most important name in the midfield. Idan Malihi is a skillful player but he seems to have troubles leading the team. Angoy Ansombo and Eikenza Simba the new signs at Petach Tikva will have take more on their selves to make Petach Tikva more successful team. Gay Itzhak is another good player that need to be more involved in the team. Soli Tzemah the 21-year-old was discovered last year after some nice football moments. He needs to step up even more this year. Dragan Tadic with the curly hair was always some interesting player for me. He has good skill yet he can't use it all the time. But when he do use his ability he makes some magic with the ball. Asi Mashiah (anointed by the Lord is the meaning) is another talented but young player. Erez Laloz and Gal Alberman will finish the squad at the midfield.
The offence at Maccabi Petach Tikva looks rather nice. Kobi Refoa is the golden boot winner last year in the Israeli league, so everyone can depend on him to score goal. But his career suffered some ups and downs to many times. Kobi Refoa is a former player of Maccabi Tel Aviv but he didn’t function there. His soul mate is Lior Asolin the man who came from Maccabi Herzlia after to many scandals this summer. Robil Sarsor only 19 years old came from the youth team. Believe it or not his name means pimp in Hebrew! Petach Tikva and he hope he will not become one if won't have good season. Alex Loeit and Omer Golan might have more influence this year in the game, but first they need minutes.

It seems like Lozon's team look very balanced. Petach Tikva has good players in every position and also the subs are good too. But Lozon still is very inexperience at Ligat-Hal (or Ligat-Hall). He has nice keeper, good defenders, great midfielders and fantastic offence. Who needs more?

Expectations: 5-6th spot in the league, win the cup or toto cup.
Reality: 5th place and will be out of the cup in the second or 3rd round although they might surprise some of us. Maybe the toto cup will go to Maccabi Petach Tikva they took twice.
Player to watch: Lior Asolin: after all the bla bla and yada, yada, yada of the coming season, the man who desperately wanted to leave Herzelia left now all the big pressure of being someone it the first division is on him. Him and we want to see if Bietar Jerusalem lost a fantastic striker or gain some money!
Possible starting 11: Sagi Shtraos; Ismaeil Amar, Morad Megamadov, Sharon Tzofin, Kobi Ganon; Idan Malihi, Eikenza Simba, Angoy Ansombo, Dragan Tadic; Lior Asolin, Kobi Refoa.

DiD u Know: Idan Tal that nowadays plays at Raio Valacano played in Maccabi Petach Tikva almost all his years in Israeli soccer before moving to Hapoel Tel Aviv and then to Europe. Idan came to the team from Hapoel Jerusalem.
