All I have to do is Dream

Well, history is the name in the game between Manchester United and Maccabi Haifa. The Israeli team doesn’t want to take the history that was made by only qualifying to the Champions League but they want to make new history in Old-Traford.

Rosu and Manchester Utd, can u win?

But it seems like they can't do it even if Beckham would have play for them. The difference between the two teams is huge. Manchester United took the Champions League in 1999 while Maccabi Haifa appears in the CL for the first time. Haifa can't ask for a worst place to start their journey in the CL then Old-Traford. But resent defeats against Leeds and Bolton give Maccabi Haifa and Israel some hope, Maybe not for a win but for good result.
All Israel is very nervous about the main match of the season. Israeli football recently didn’t had good results but Maccabi Haifa's success of gaining a place in the Champions League really made us all proud of our football. All the worse stuff was forgotten after Maccabi Haifa's draw in Gratz. It is really happy day for all of the Israeli football, we waited for this for 10 long years only for this heroic moment. Maccabi Haifa made the dream come true.
Maccabi has some squad problems after Remondas Zautaotas was injured in the last game against Hapoel Kfar Saba. If the Lithuanian couldn’t play it seems like Eyal Almoshlino will play. Eyal Almoshlino didn’t play in Europe yet so he might make his first start in Old-Traford! Also Yakobo will not take part of the game due to silly red card in the match against Strum Gratz. Michael Zandberg the recently sign at Haifa from Hapoel Petach Tikva will be his replacement. But Haifa has a lot of other quality players, like Yaniv Katan the young star that played well in the 5-0 win against Hapoel Kfar Saba. Giovani "prankster" Rosu is also great player that is in a wonderful shape lately including two goals against Hapoel Kfar Saba. Adu Kessi has great form this month and will guard David Beckham.

Manchester United really don’t take Haifa seriously and last press conference Sir Alex Fergoson didn’t know that it was Hapoel Tel Aviv that had the great run in UEFA cup last year and not Maccabi Haifa like he thought. Manchester don’t think they would have to much problems to beat the Israeli team although in Israel every one think that Maccabi gets Man U in a crisis and may use it to get a point!
Manchester has a lot of squad problems. Roy Keane will be out because of an injury and personal stuff. Nicky Butt won't take part due to injury against the game against Leeds, where he limped out of the match. Michael Stewart will replace him. Veron might play in the game after he recovered from a groin strain. Paul Scholes is still sidelined and will see the game from the stands. Good news might come from Gary Neville, yes the long time injured right back might play.

Players to watch:
Manchester United: Van Nistelrooy - The Dutchman should score this game. He will play as a striker but recently he suffers from bad misses in front of goal. A goal against Maccabi Haifa may get him out of his crisis.
Maccabi Haifa: Walid Badir - His story seems to be the most interesting one. 5 years ago in this date(18.9) Badir's dad died. 3 years ago in the same date Badir scored a goal in Old-Traford with his former team Wimbledon in the 1-1 draw. So is the date going to bring him another big thing?

What do I think?
Badir or not, Manchester will be out of there crisis after this game with a 6-0 win. But remember that 5-0 win against Zalgersgi wasn’t enough to take Man Utd out of their crisis.

Starting lineup:
Manchester United: Ricardo; P. Neville, Blanc, Ferdinand, Silvestre; Beckham, Stewart(Chadwick), Veron, Giggs, Van Nistelrooy, Solskjaer.
Maccabi Haifa: Awate; Harzi, Ajipor, Benado, Kessi; Badir, Zoutaotas, Pralija, Rosu, Zandberg(Cohen); Katan.

DiD u Know: Maccabi Haifa didn’t lost this year! )4 wins and 1 draw)
Did u Know: Manchester United's Diego Forlan hasn’t score even one goal in the red team.
